"This is me now.

My return to myself. Had to open my eyes, and realise.

This is me now, and there's no turning back, there's nothing to stop, my ascent to the top."

TRUDI MOSIAMO

My career began 20 years ago when I signed to Bristol-based Manager with strong ties to the Bristol Sound scene and UK dance music who established me as a freelance vocalist and Lyricist.  Writing and performed primarily with electronic music, under my Mothers maiden name Mosiamo.  In  2004 I co-produced a solo/ self-released EP which was named as that years Glastonbury Jazz/World Stage Best Emerging Artist. As was customary I was mentioned on John Peel’s career-defining BBC2 “Peel at Glastonbury” highlights show.

This unanticipated attention led to me working on the development of other artists. My appreciation of most forms of music allowed me to work with artists in varying genres, and to amass a large back catalogue of songs and ideas.  My own songwriting style is evident in each project as I am influenced by the unique and groundbreaking artists that I admire such as Peter Gabriel,  Massive Attack, and Bjork.   Below are some examples of my work.

Currently, I am collaborating with theatre director Jessica Beck who specialises in new writing and devised work, on an exciting multi-disciplinary autobiographical piece about my life. The piece, which is called TIN, is built around the back catalogue of music I have written and will incorporate dance, theatre and 3D projection-mapping.
